Currently, all 6 judges on the Hamilton County Court of Appeals are Republicans. Do we really want our County's highest court to be so ideologically imbalanced? Electing Bruce Whitman for Judge will allow those who stand in front of the Court to face a more balanced panel influenced by a variety of ideologies and backgrounds, not just a single one. 

In an era when money has taken over the political scene nationwide, Bruce has pledged to limit donations given to him by lawyers who might practice in the Court of Appeals to 1/2 the maximum. Pat Dewine has made no such pledge and has been actively fundraising from lawyers who practice in front of him.

Pat Dewine has run for 5 public offices in the past 9 years. If he is elected this fall, he will be leaving his seat on the Court of Common Pleas halfway through his first term. Bruce Whitman has been a pillar of the Cincinnati legal community for 32 years. He has made a living in private practice, not through taxpayer dollars, and is running for office to give back to the Hamilton County community, not simply to further a political career.
